Carat
A measure of a diamond's weight, not its size. As carat weight rises, so does rarity — exceptional stones above a single carat exist in vanishing supply.

Every significant natural diamond offered by Giuliana Diamonds is independently graded by the Gemological Institute of America — the world's most respected diamond grading authority.
Founded in 1931, the Gemological Institute of America established the universal language of diamond grading — including the 4Cs adopted by the trade worldwide.
Independent of any retailer, the GIA examines each diamond under laboratory conditions, issuing a report that documents its exact characteristics.
Certification confirms authenticity — that a diamond is natural, not synthetic, and that its grading is verified by a neutral authority.
For our clients, a GIA report is the assurance that what is offered, and what is received, are one and the same.

A measure of a diamond's weight, not its size. As carat weight rises, so does rarity — exceptional stones above a single carat exist in vanishing supply.

The discipline of light. Cut governs brilliance, fire and scintillation — the way a diamond returns light to the eye. The most consequential of the 4Cs.

Graded D through Z, from colorless to faintly tinted. The Maison favors diamonds at the colorless end of the spectrum, where light passes unbroken.

A record of a diamond's internal landscape. Inclusions are nature's signature — rarer stones reveal fewer, examined under ten-times magnification.

A certificate records the measurable. It cannot describe the way light moves across a stone, or the quiet presence a diamond carries on the hand.
At Giuliana, every diamond is personally selected by the Maison for beauty, presence and character — qualities no laboratory can fully capture.
